From our first appointment Dr. T. Hearty has been as professional as any doctor I've dealt with. His staff are caring,, helpful, and understanding. P.A. Alex is above and beyond knowledgeable in everything and anything about my ankle, foot, and leg issues. Christian and Jeff also great assistants in handling the helping hands needed in recovering. Dr Hearty explained the procedure and the outcome and had a good follow up with good results. I can now wear normal shoes and am able to walk farther without any pain.

He explained things in a way I could understand and took the time to listen. The Athletic Trainer also took the time to listen and was very helpful with paperwork I needed signed for worker comp.

I've been a bit of a troublesome patient from time to time. Not because of my attitude but because of the way my body reacts to things...but Dr. Hearty always listens to the issues, has options for solutions, and guides me to consider the best care options. He's personable, very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable!

Clinical notes said he did a "test" while manipulating my foot which had a positive result. He did not mention this to me during the appointment, and I would have liked to have discussed the implications in the appointment to understand better. However, it was in his notes and the issue is not very severe so it was OK in the end.

Dr. Hearty performed ankle replacement surgery for me. His preparation for the surgery was extremely thorough. The surgery was fairly complicated and required several adjustments to areas of the foot in order to ensure success. The results are everything I could have hoped for.

Very nice doctor, polite and courteous, listened to my complaints and diagnosed my condition. Explained what I needed to do to correct the issue and gave me instructions (handout) on how to perform exercises.
