I love Dr Powell and his staff! He’s very thorough and everyone is nice. Also the Valet Men was very handsome and nice as well!

My doctor is Thomas Powell and let me tell you his staff is absolutely amazing and he is the best doctor I have ever had. The bedside manor is above and beyond. He is extremely respectful and actually listens to all of your concerns and he always has the answers.

Everyone was attentive and efficient. The Doctor gave me great information and all options available to me. He explained them in terms I understood and made recommendations.

Until I was about to leave and mentioned that the surgeon did not speak to anyone in my family, did they call someone to come in. My husband is a thoracic surgeon at UAB and he said the surgeon, in elective cases like mine, always goes to talk to the family. He was disappointed and a bit surprised that the surgeon never even called him.

Dr. Powell and his staff were wonderful. They made my entire visit very comfortable. Dr. Powell was very thorough and explained every issue in detail. I highly recommend him!

The care was very good! The amount of time between arrival and departure was abysmal. Arrived at 1:40pm for a 2pm appointment, got into a room at 3:25pm, departed around 5:10pm.

Dr Powell and staff are exceptionally wonderful. I’ve never been shown so much compassion and care from anywhere else. He is an angel in my opinion. Thanks to everyone in the surgery department as well as the doctor’s office on the 5th floor for taking such great care of me! ❤️❤️❤️

I saw Dr Powell and he was amazing. He took his time listening and explaining everything to me. I left with a new confidence in what was going on and the corse of action that I needed to add to my quality of life. Can’t say enough positive about my experience

Dr Powell and his staff are extremely professional and "nice"! Wait times are under 5 minutes no matter if you're late or early. Wonderful and understanding. They all take the time to listen and respond to all questions or concerns.

Dr. Powell was so engaging and discussed at length my issues and the different options I have if needed in the future. He was very knowledgeable and made sure I knew everything that was pertinent and explained everything so that I, as a laymen, could understand. I was Very impressed with him and the time it took for me to feel encouraged and know that I was in good hands.

Dr.P is always so thorough, encouraging and has a plan. And the staff are so sweet, friendly, even early Tues AM after a holiday weekend. When i was barely awake!

Dr. Thomas Powell is the best. He is so professional and caring. I truly believe he is a gift from God. I was so sick when I finally found him, and the surgery that he performed was life changing. I will forever praise him and his team. I also applaud the female PA who assisted him in surgery. She is incredible also. The follow up calls and care was top notch.
