The nurses... and staff made me feel so very comfortable... They were all very professional and I felt that they really loved their jobs... Except one nurse that was apparently having a bad day because I only asked her for directions and she made it seem like I shouldn't be there if I didn't know how to get where I needed to be.... However, I'm old enough to know that there will always be "one"!

Dr Powell had the best beside manner of any doctor I’ve been too. The entire staff are kind and knowledgeable as well.

The experience I and my husband had was top notch. Everyone has been beyond friendly from the scheduler, information desk ladies, nurses and Dr Powell. Dr Powell seems so knowledgeable, caring and wanting to fix the problem not just something to see if it works. My husband has already recommended Dr Powell to a friend for his wife.

The staff is the best I’ve seen. They always treat me with such respect and care. Dr Powell is wonderful. He always has a suggestion that works. I’d recommend them to anyone that ask.

Dr Powell & his staff are AMAZING! Very thorough, attentive & understanding. They go the extra mile to ensure that you understand all procedures. They are genuinely concerned with your overall health and wellbeing. I highly recommend their office. I wish Dr.Powell could be my doctor for everything.

I would like to say that I was treated like I was part of a family from the time I walked into the doctor office for my initial consultation until the time I was discharged after surgery. My only complaint was the valet at St. Vincents. He was rude and acted as if I was a complete bother to him. Not pleasant dealing with him as I arrived for my surgery. However, as a RN myself, I was very impressed with UAB!

Dr. Powell is phenomenal! He is very professional yet personable and answers all questions very informatively. This has been the biggest surgery I've had and with it has been a breeze. Every physician/ doctor should strive to be like Dr. Powell. He is an asset to UAB and should be appreciated and respected by all. His nurse, Cynthia is also great! She is kind, very professional and has a beautiful smile. I will never use anyone else if I have any further needs.

It is so refreshing to have care providers who actually listen, are competent, and truly care. Dr. Powell and his staff are top notch. No questions that I asked were a bother to them. They answered all of them professionally and compassionately. I would recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Powell is amazing, he is gentle. He is kind and compassionate. I can't imagine going through this with anyone else on my team. His staff is loving and diligent about making sure your needs are met. They are also very kind non-judgmental and encouraging. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Thomas was extremely nice and very informative. The front desk lady was so nice and that is so rare now a days. The triage nurse and the nurse who did the interview were so nice and very comforting. Over all a wonderful experience especially when you are already worried and uncomfortable.
