I had the best experience at a doctors office that I have ever had everyone was friendly and the doctor was very professional and informative

I was told that they had all my mri information and ct information. The dr told me he wanted to do an MRI. I told him I had already had 2 done and asked why another one. He seemed clueless. I read him the results of the previous MRI’s and then he said he would refer me to pain management. He did not seem the least bit interested in finding the cause of the pain.

I did not feel listened to nor did I feel like my past surgeries were taken into consideration when the doctor made his recommendation.

We were extremely pleased when [ ]'s appointment was changed to see a seasoned neurosurgeon instead of a PA. What was disappointing was he no longer operates and now we must make another 250 mile trip to Birmingham (from FL) to see his partner, who would be the surgeon, if surgery is warranted. Dr Staner was very thorough in his examination, however, and explained things well. We are hopeful that other appointments can be combined to make fewer trips.

Dr Staner has a great personable manner. He’s so highly intelligent but speaks to me in terms that I can understand. He orders tests immediately after appointment. He sends referrals immediately after appointment. He sets up my next appointment as well. I get a summery of the visit that day and instructions to my tests and referrals so that I can remember it all. Thank you so much Dr Staner and staff.

Dr Staner went above and beyond to make sure I got in same day with Dr [ ] due to needing a gastric sleeve to reduce my weight so I am a safe candidate for spinal surgery. He called Dr [ ] himself on his personal phone to assist in a smooth same day transition from one facility to the other as my mother had to drive me all the way from Panama City, FL for this surgery consultation. He was extremely kind and persistent in getting me the care I needed, despite not being able to directly help me at this point. I was very impressed and moved by his dedication to patient care! He made a difference in my life and I greatly appreciate the effort he put in.

He ask if I had any questions and when I would start asking question, he would start talking to the nurse telling her what test to order. I never got 1 question asked.
