Jammed my ring finger and ring was cutting off circulation because of swelling. The NP tried the tourniquet method to remove the ring; didn't work. Had to cut the ring. NP was very patient. Took x-rays of my hand to be sure no broken bones...all good. I'll go back next time I have a minor injury.
