Again, he was attentive, listened to my responses to his questions and was genuinely honest with my questions and his responses. He gave the impression of being a very compassionate surgeon....unfortunately, not always the case with a lot of MDs.

Awesome surgeon, good listener, explainer and pleasant disposition, besides being an extremely competent orthopedic surgeon. I'm in for a second surgery with him and feel completely confident in the outcome, which helps with my fear of surgery in general!

After reviewing imaging, examining my hip and listening carefully to my history, Dr Lara presented me with both a surgical and non-surgical option and explained risks to me. I really appreciate what I learned and the consideration given to my concerns.

Dr. Lara performed my left hip replacement and he’s getting ready to do my right hip replacement. He’s the best in my opinion , my recovery from the time I had my surgery till the time I was walking normal with no pain was six months.

He was 30 minutes late for the appointment. Understand things can be delayed sometimes but that was annoying.
