My overall experience at Wellish Abrams Eye Institute has been wonderful. I've been a patient there for the past 11 months (5-6 visits) and have seen 4 differant doctors. So far, I think Doctor Shah is my favorite. He takes time to listen to you, doesnt make you feel rushed, and has a great personality. I scheduled an upcoming procedure with him, and he went over the procedure with me very well and answered all my questions. I think the most important thing these days is finding a good doctor you can trust and feel comfortable with. I would recommend Dr. Shah to otjhers.

Dr. Shah was informative. He took time to explain why I might be having double-vision. He wants report of my MRI and MRA with and without contrast once the tests are done. I found Dr. Shah to be well-versed in the eyes. He was kind and gracious and the staff were wonderful.

Outstanding, my wife had an appointment with Dr Shah. I had an infection in my eye and I just wanted to ask Dr Shah if I should see a doctor. Dr Shah said go sign in and he would see me. Within 20 minutes, Dr Shah evaluated my eye and gave me a prescription for an antibiotic. Thank you Dr Shah.

I was concerned that I was losing the vision in my right eye. After the examination, Dr Shah indicated that I needed a secondary cataract removal. I had never heard of this and was alarmed. Dr Shah calmed my fears, an appointment was arranged and he performed the surgery. I'm happy to say after my followup that all is back to perfect vision. I'm sad that Dr Shah will be moving to his new office which is far for me to travel, but I'm confident that Wellish Vision will have another quality Dr on staff.

Dr. Shah was the Ophthalmologist on-call when I went to Sunrise ER for 2 corneal abrasions. He prescribed antibiotic drops to replace the drops I was prescribed at an Urgent Care facility the day before. Those first drops caused my entire left cornea to become blurry so that I couldn't see through the haze. I then went to his practice the following Tuesday and he was very reassuring and knowledgeable. I was extremely nervous there might be permanent damage, but was relieved when he told me it appeared to already be healing well. I then went back the following week and he prescribed steroids to help reduce the scarring. He and his staff were very helpful and encouraging to a patient we was very obviously very, very nervous and concerned. I've already recommended him to 2 coworkers and will continue to do so in the future. Highly, highly recommend!
