Dr. Tanio sees me as an individual and uses her knowledge of me in conjunction with test results to provide what I believe to be excellent care. I have been a patient of her's for 25 years and would be reluctant to trust my heart care to anyone else.

Dr. Tanio is an outstanding doctor. She is always incredibly professional, efficient, knowledgeable, kind, patient, understanding, gracious, supportive, patient, caring. I am very blessed and grateful to have her as my cardiologist.

Dr. Tanio is one of the best cardiologists at Hopkins. She is very thorough in every visit and articulates her thoughts and health goals for me with great clarity. She answers any questions I have and she cares about each of her patients. This is why I've been her patient for over a decade.

This was my first visit with Dr. Tanio. I was impressed by her. She was empathic about my condition and offered a clear path forward to address my cardiac issues. She explained what tests I still needed and what information they might provide us. This in turn would lead to a treatment plan. Her explanations were straight forward enabling a lay person to comprehend what had happened and how future problems could be avoided
