Dr. Amirah B Tan Abdullah, MD

I was scheduled for 10:30 am and asked to arrive at 10:15. Dr. Tan came into my appointment an hour late. She came into the exam room at about 11:25, in a huff and visible frazzled. She was prepared to not let me speak at all during my appointment, and I had to strongly advocate just for her to listen to me. I didn't feel heard at all during the appointment and it was obvious she was distracted by being so far behind in her schedule. I left feeling very disappointed, and like I had wasted my time. I live an hour away and this is the closest doctor covered by my insurance, and she doesn't care at all. I do not have trust in this provider, and I do not feel comfortable recommending her to anyone I care about. I'm already in the process of seeking a second opinion.

Dr. Tan is an awesome obgyn and made me feel entirely comfortable without making me feel awful about myself like my last one.

At 73, using a wheelchair and oxygen, I’m often uneasy about doctor visits. However, the entire staff and the doctor here went completely out of their way to accommodate me. They made me feel safe, steady, and truly cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Tan was very upfront with how everything was going to go. She did not use big words and she did not talk over people's heads. I found her to be a fantastic doctor.
