I have been seeing Dr. Pautler for 3 years, every 6 months, to follow macular degeneration. His office is clean, well-lit, and has comfortable seating. His front-office staff are friendly and professional. The back-office technicians are skilled as well as friendly and professional. Dr. Pautler takes his time during his examination – he is clearly taking a careful look. He is very good at explaining things, and has an exemplary bedside manner.
This is what I could have said about him for the last 3 years. Now, I want to add something very positive from the last visit. I needed to be worked in for an unscheduled visit, due to a concern raised by a neurosurgeon at a different office, due to an abnormal neuro-ophthalmological exam at a third different office. The staff got me an appointment within 2 days. He saw me and determined that there was no change in my macular degeneration that could account for the concern by the neurosurgeon. He made the extra effort to advise me to have my neuro-ophthalmological exam repeated. I repeated the exam, and the exam was different, and no longer concerning. Dr. Pautler’s hunch saved me from a dangerous and probably fruitless surgical procedure.
In addition, his staff went above board to secure the rapid appointment to his office.
He has my highest recommendation, and deep thanks.

We were right on time for our appointment. The staff is lovely—from the front desk to the technicians to Dr. White. My dad is always treated with kindness and respect. Dr. White always gives us a complete explanation of how my dad is doing, and allows us to ask any questions. We appreciate the great experience

Dr. Findlay is always professional and very thorough.
Her staff also know what they are about but still chat with me personally. She took the time to answer my questions. If I ever need eye surgery, she would be the one.

Dr. Paultler is an outstanding physician. Not only is he the best retina specialist in town, he is a kind, patient, and communicative person. Excellent with patient rapport. I’m a retired hospital administrator and try to pick the best physician no matter their personality, but he excels at both.

for the staff to be a little less
