I could use a telehealth option with this provider. There's no need for me to go in at this point we are just reviewing bloodwork which is WNL . I drive an hour to see her.

The set-up of this HMH facility has the patient guided personally to each step. There is no feeling of bewilderment or confusion or frustration- no wrong question.

The waiting room, the patient rooms, the staff, the Doctor were all amazing. I loved Dr Shifrin Douglas, this was my first visit, and she was extremely smart, picked up errors made by test result comparisons and did quick math on her own. She listened and acted fastidiously. I would recommend her to anyone.

Have you considered adding a Nutritionist to your staff? If you have a number of type 2 diabetes patients it would help their overall health outcome. I asked but you did not have one.

Surperb and knowledgeable physician. By being a great MD with experiece, exertise and knowledge; I am not sure how any days she is in the office, I believe that is the potential issue of trying to make future appointments.

From the minute, I walked up to the desk everyone was helpful with getting me signed in, taking care of the payment and in a very quick time i met with Dr. Shifrin-Douglas. I would definitely recommend this place and Dr. Shifrin-Douglas to friends.

Yes. I did not receive a summary of the appointment, so I'm not sure. Well, I don't know more, you know, on the information that changed hands with both of us, the narrative and what, you know, what I have to do. next to make improvements or what she saw that I didn't.

Dr. Shifrin Douglas was very knowledgeable and really took a lot of time with me to adjust my insulin levels on my pump and to suggest scripts that would help me maintain better control. She is highly competent, but also very patient. I had multiple issues and she took the time to listen and address each one.

I am not crazy about the new checkout process. I didn't like standing out in the lobby at a little side desk area discussing my appointment and follow up information.

I was planning to change doctors because I didn't feel she was listening to my concerns and I felt she was rushing in & out in the past visits. This visit, I felt Dr. Shifrin-Douglas was listening to me. I was very content with this visit.

I am grateful for Dr. Douglas. She really states facts and wants me to be healthy. Our agreement is that every time my labs improve, she teaches me a new word in Russian. I learned how to say hello and goodbye. Looking forward to learning more and having a conversation in Russia.

My biggest concern is the medication for the diabetes. The doctor gave me the choices to pick what I thought was the best combination of medicine to take, but didn't really give me that much input on what she thought would have been the best thing for me. So I wrote a note in my chart and I'm awaiting a response to some concerns that I have.

Using a one size fits all lancet to take a blood sample left my two index finger tips black and blue. Seriously! Diabetic for 30 years, and this has never happened. Better equipment and training is needed. I felt this appointment was a waste of time, considering my diabetes is well controlled due to my efforts and that of my primary care doctor.
