I've been going to Dr. Sussman for 8 years and he's been the only Dr that's help me with my IBS and he really cares for his patients. He is the best in MIAMI. I've been to many dr;s and Dr. Sussman is the only one that understood how I felt and help me. I'm grateful for all he does. UM is lucky to have him

Dr. Sussman, took the time, close to an hour, to meet while asking very important questions, explaining test results and giving his professional opinion while responding to my questions in layman's terms.

After 22 years working in Healthcare and after 5 years of being a patient, I have to say Dr. Sussman and his student were absolutely a breath of fresh air. The concern they showed, paired with empathy and their ability to to be completely thorough whilst attenuating fear is a skill not possesed by many in today's health care. Dr. Sussman was exemplary, and many can still learn from him today.

My husband and I both said multiple times how impressed we were with the care I received from my doctor and the staff. They definitely went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to understand my concerns I felt like I was in very good hands.

Dr Sussman is one of the best doctors I've been to at UM. He was very professional, caring, and understanding. He took his time to listen and asked questions to gain a better understanding of the underlying issue. His level of expertise is impeccable. Toward the end of the visit, he went over everything and clearly explained the next steps and if there were no findings what steps after that could be taken. I highly recommend Dr Sussman.

Dr. Sussman has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've seen. In addition, the focus on prevention, early detection, and concern for family members who are not his patients is unprecedented in our current health system. He helps me feel more confident that I am in good hands and that if I were to get the worst news (cancer) in the future, that we would catch it early enough to successfully apply the most current treatments. I wish every doctor I had were more like him. I have referred him to my sister-in-law who just saw him for her initial visit and shared the same sentiments with me.
