This was my first visit with Dr. Sallach, 3rd overall in 2 years with cardiology, 4th if you include Dr. Esan as well. When asked to pick a cardiologist for this appointment, I immediately chose her based on a word of mouth recommendation from an acquaintance (with a very complex health history) who spoke high praises of her. She was certainly correct in her recommendation. I would say Dr. Sallach is a "Cadillac" doctor - "laser precision" in her empathy, attention to detail, ability to assuage your anxieties and questions in a way that most male doctors do not because they don't pick up on those non-verbals, or they rush through and don't want to be bothered with womens' anxieties. By Dr. Sallach understanding the link between anxiety and outcomes with the heart, she vastly improved the quality of my visit that day, and overall, the confidence that I was headed in the right direction. I did not have this same high level of confidence after previous cardiology/electrophys visits.

Dr Salluch was great but mid Michigan's intake and central scheduling system didn't seem to work efficiently.

The Dr. is very good and thorough. I would recommend her to everyone that needs cardiology help. She is very patient, seems to undersand what you are telling her, and takes the time to hear what you, the patient, has to say. She is straight forward, does not beat around the bush.
