I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR. ALAM FOR OVER 2 YEARS IN THE TREAMENT OF MACULAR DEGENERATION WHICH REQUIRES INJECTIONS IN BOTH EYES EVERY 10 TO 12 WEEKS. DR. ALAM HAS BEEN THE MOST PROFESSIONAL AND CARING THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE PROCESS. HE IS THE BEST THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN THIS PROCEDURE.

Dr. Alam is the best. I recommend him to everyone I know that needs help with macular degeneration. He has been my doctor for several years and my eyes are going well. He makes me feel at ease so it is not difficult to ask any questions and concerns regarding the status of my eyes. He is one in million!!!

I had an emergency procedure with Dr. Alam. He was a calm and reassuring doctor. He made the experience such that I had nothing to worry about in regards to his expertise and the care he took during my procedure and post op appointments. He answered all my questions patiently and gave me detailed information I needed. I highly recommend him to anyone for specialty eye care needs. I’m very grateful to have had him as my ophthalmologist.

This was my 1st visit with Dr Alam.
I was very impressed that he reviewed my records before seeing me. He had a treatment plan ready which was different than my prior retna specialist. HE changed my visits to 4 months which I requested from other doctor. I will keep him as my retina specialist.

My husband and I had our first initial appointment, sort of a 'meet and greet,' and it went well. We discussed both of our health issues and concerns, and he did not rush us off (like some doctors). He seemed interested and concerned. December is our annual physical; we will see how this goes, hopefully just as personal.

Doctor Alam is not my regular Retina Specialist however due to circumstances beyond my control I needed to make an appointment with another doctor. He was attentive and if I needed to permanently switch doctors I would certainly see him again.

Very patient very thorough willing to answer all my questions. However, stupid they may be. He’s just a real good doctor that makes you feel very comfortable. Has never caused me any pain whatsoever and considering the treatment he’s giving me I think that saying a lot.

Very pleased with Dr Alam, however wait time between each exam procedure was excessive. I moved here from Kansas City where procedures ran 30 to 45 minutes instead of the two hours spent here.

I have been a patient at Barnet Dulaney for nearly 2 years and was seeing another doctor who has been unavailable for my last few appointments. Due to the serious nature of retinal problems, I was apprehensive about changing doctor's. However, following yesterday's appointment and injection, my apprehension is gone, and I hope to continue to see doctor Alam as my doctor in the future. I'm more than satisfied in all regards and would highly recommend him.

Dr. Alam is very nice and very caring person. He is very good at his work. I’m glad he was my retina doctor. He helped me stabilized my left eye and by doing so I’m able to still have my eye and able to see some. Thank you doctor Alam!

This seems to be a very busy practice but I appreciate the professionalism and kind approach of Dr Alam. I have been here a number of times and have accustomed myself to the long wait time and especially when trying to re-schedule an appointment. Hope that perhaps staff can be added to help with the long waits for patients.

From the moment he walked into the room, Dr Suhail Alam was the epitome of professional. He was prompt, courteous and answered all of my questions. I can only wish that the other doctors that I see were on the same level.

Doctor Alam is highly skilled and a great communicator. I'm fortunate that I was referred to him for a tear in my retina. He repaired it the day I met him, and has carefully followed up since then. Thank you Dr. Alam and Barnett Dulaney Perkins Eye Center.
