Three hours to see Dr. Theiss for 4-5 minute appt. And, was told to be there 15 min. early. Two and a half hours late would be just about right.

Beautiful facility. Surroundings are very comforting & calm. Staff was super friendly & got me in & out quickly which is a huge plus in my book. It was as pleasurable as a Drs appt can be. I don't like going to Dr. So I really liked the brief encounters. Also the spacing in the waiting areas is awesome! I hate sitting all up under another person I don't know! I certainly don't whatever sickness they may have either! So I was happy with my experience at that facility the 2 times Ive been there. Thank you for making me feel like I matter as well. Hopefully I will be fixed & mended very soon!! I feel I can trust all UAB facilities with my issues & that you all are seriously taking my problems into account & working towards the best solution for fixing them! Keep up the good work! God Bless!! 💯

UAB Highlands and Dr. Steven Theiss are outstanding! The timelines of the appointment and efficiency of everyone from checking in to being seen are without question the best! The friendliness of all is what makes the visit so efficient! I am equally impressed by tge overall cleanliness of the entire faculty! Thank you for always looking out for my wellbeing!

Check in was quick and easy. Called back to see Dr almost immediately. Dr explained what needed to be done. We agreed on a date to do the surgery, then the nurse came in and talked with me.

I am tremendously satisfied with the Highlands location of UAB Orthopedics. They were prompt on getting me back for X-rays and to a room. I have sat for an hour and more at times at the Gardendale location. 10 thumbs up for Dr Theiss and the Heighlands Orthopedic group.

I understand why he is not wanting to mess with my lower back but they were supposed to set up an MRI at Open MRI on the upper to mid back but I have yet to hear back on an apartment I am hurting and need to get this going . So not exactly satisfied with promptness.. please get it ordered

My wait time was very short. The doctor was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had for him and he told me basically the same thing that the doctor who referred me to him, had told me.

Once in my exam room, I had about a 30 min wait on my dr, but he was busy. His resident did come in and do some exams and ask questions. Once Dr was in, he took his time answering my questions and concerns. Overall, it was an A+ visit.
