My appointment was at 7am. I was not called back until 725am. Doctor did not arrive in the room until 745am. Time spent with the doctor was 7 minutes. Being the first appointment of the day, I would have expected the doctor to arrive before the patient. I watched him walk in at 715am. I chose the 7am appointment to ensure I would be at work on time instead of arriving late. I would just expect a more timely experience.

We had a ten-minute meeting. no conversation about me as a person. About my family information, no personal interaction; he knows nothing about me as a person!

I am just the caregiver. What the doctor needs to do is talk to the patient one on one with personal contact. I can answer questions as a care giver he needs to focus on patient and look at them as individuals.

Now that Virtua has 'threatened' to charge for issues outside the pervue of an annual exam - I am reluctant to engage in conversation that invites this charge. It definitely limits what I'll discuss during a visit.

I would go with my father to his appointments with Dr. Nguyen. He was so good with my father, who wasn't the easiest of patients. My father trusted and respected Dr. Nguyen so I too started to see him as my primary physician. My father has since past but I remember the relationship he had with Dr. Nguyen as I continue to see him.

Dr. Nguyen seems to be in a rush to get me out of the exam room and you know, based on our several visits and meetings, I guess he's getting, I don't know, impatient or tired of me as a patient, but I felt like my problems and issues weren't being addressed and he didn't believe the answers I was giving him as far as my diet. So I don't know who else to trust with doctors if your primary care doctor doesn't trust you in what you tell him. I mean, there's no reason for me to lie about my health. So, I mean, that was kind of disappointing from my point of view as a patient. I may have to consider a different doctor. We're switching to a different doctor in the near future if this continues to persist.

I'm very lucky to be under Dr. Nguyen's care all these years! He has provided great personal care from day 1. The staff at Virtua are all very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend them to family & friends.

I appreciate the waiting period to see the doctor. I didn't spend much time at the doctors office and all my concerns were resolved.

This doctor has been a good doctor for my disabled adult son. He treats him with respect and is able to examine him effectively despite my son's autistic trait of not wanting to be touched. I never sense he feels my son is any less deserving of good care that I have had from some other doctors.
