Dr.Girard has always been excellent. Securing an appointment was all but impossible. The Doctors in Trinity Health seem to be" time challenged".

Making an appointment with Dr. Girard was exceptionally difficult. My visit was overdue by six months. The appointment schedule was never available...and no one knew when it would become available! I was advised to call weekly. My appointment was secured only after a nurse in the Pacemaker Clinic learned of my lack of success in scheduling a visit with Dr. Girard.

Extremely positive experience. Dr Girard was very pleasant, didn’t rush through the appointment and answered all my questions and concerns. He was very easy to talk to and he explained everything thoroughly.

I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Girard, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was incredibly respectful, taking the time to thoroughly explain every step of my treatment and ensuring I understood my options. As a first time patient with Dr Girard having switched from Dr Wilks. The office is well run, and are able to stick pretty much on time. Dr. Girard was great, talked a bit so he knew about me and what I do every day. Checked about the medicine I take and suggested adding one for cholesterol as I’m so allergic to the statins. Said I didn’t need any tests as I am very active. I felt really comfortable having him for my cardiologist. Thanks you Dr. Girard.

It is very difficult to get desired appointment times at Michigan Heart because they only schedule 2 months ahead of the current date. I don't see why that long-time issue has not been effectively addressed by Trinity Health. Many of my providers will schedule my next annual visit before I leave their office from my current year visit. Room for improvement with your scheduling procedure!
