Stacy D. Is the most attentive, realistic, and helpful mental health professional I’ve ever worked with. She uses a variety of methods to ensure our therapeutic relationship is strong and I’ve never found therapy to be as impactful with any other therapist. Being in the mental health field myself and having colleagues and friends also in the field, I was worried I wouldn’t get much out of my sessions, but I am so incredibly thankful for them. They are changing my life, digging deep into many areas of my past to help me better understand myself to help form healthier coping mechanisms and create a version of myself that I’m happier with.

Personally, this last appointment did not go the way I wanted it to. I was highlighting more current life issues and not parental issues and it is like my therapist tried to make it about postpartum depression. I feel like my other mentasl health concerns were ignored and deflected into fitting into a box which is not okay. I feel like my therapy is only for money and not for the improvement of my mental health (Anxiety/PTSD).
