He was very kind to my kiddo even when she was fussy and seems like a very knowledgeable and capable surgeon. I appreciated him seeing us after being checked in late but felt he was judgmental about our “tardiness” without ensuring he had all the facts. Because of this judgement, I personally felt like I was not able to ask many questions. I would have rescheduled but it’s most important to me that we get my child’s matter settled as soon as possible. I look forward to improving our interactions in the future.

Kevin Chen is an amazing physician in both skill and bedside manner. He has a keen sense of emotional intelligence when it comes to his patients, and that is priceless. He is also very thorough - he looks at the recent past, the present, and definitely the future when it comes to his assessment of your condition or injury. Thank you Dr Kevin Chen for all you have done for me related to my reconstruction re: facial cancer.

Everything I had heard about Dr Rose from Dr Keniert in Fort Atkinson was right on.Very personable, made me feel very comfortable, constantly asked me how I was doing. All went well and made sure I knew who to contact at his Madison office if I had any questions, issues.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Schaefer to others. He also works with my surgeon at SSM, Dr. Reynolds, which was really nice. It has been a very good experience working with him and his staff
