Nurse Practitioner Lauren Speer was wonderful to listen attentively to my issues and offered options for solutions. She is kind, caring, competent and I enjoyed my time with her.
I would highly recommend her to anyone who is a bit nervous about seeing a pulmonologist as I was. She put me at ease immediately and put me on the right track for solving some issues I had with my CPAP. She is a tremendous asset to the pulmonary staff and to Renown .

The medical assistant was very prompt, very kind, helped me even get my shirt back on because my shoulders don't work real well to get the shirt back on after blood pressure. And Lauren Speer was very attentive, very helpful, and provided a lot of information and answered all of our questions. We are really grateful for your service. Thank you.

Lauren Speer is an exceptional provider. I know it has to get boring listening to the complaints of people with sleep problems, and my appointment was late on a Friday afternoon. Her questions were so thoughtful, it felt like she was truly investigating my sleep problems, trying to determine what she could do for me. She asked many different kinds of questions about my sleep, and genuinely seemed like she wanted to help and was doing her best to find an alternative or additional therapy. She suggested a medication, and worked hard to get me samples - had to call the Renown pharmacy and find someone able to help. I took my first dose today and so far I am thrilled with this medication. Today was my best day in about two years because I didn’t feel fatigued for just about any part of my day (had a small 15 minute dip around 4pm) If this medication stops working I will be frustrated but I will still feel very grateful for Lauren’s interest in improving my quality of life. She is obviously very intelligent, an excellent questioner and listener and has the imagination to consider therapeutic alternatives that I don’t believe would be in the repetoire of other providers. I was expecting, “This is the best we can do for you,” and received so much more.

It was an extremely positive experience. I felt everyone in the office treated me with great respect and patience. The lady who saw me listened carefully and asked great questions and gave me exceptionally good information and helped me with a new mask that’s helped tremendously.
