Mountain Brook location is by far the best! The decor is so relaxing. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I've never had to wait long. I love Dr Collawn! She really cares and wants to help you.

Although I understand that UAB is a teaching medical school, I don’t think patients should feel like lab projects or test subjects. I’ve felt like that during almost every visit I’ve had with my doctor. And I strongly believe that is another reason why my time is never respected. I follow the guidelines and come 10-15 minutes before my appointment, yet I still sit in the back and wait over an hour for anyone to acknowledge that I’m there waiting (other than the nurse that brings you back), which last for less than 10 minutes. This is unfortunate because I truly appreciate the work that is done in this department, but I would rather go to another doctor that treats me like they genuinely care rather than someone’s test bunny.
