Dr. Shemme was so kind and compassionate. He thought about our case and had his office follow up with a suggested test.He never rushed our appointment, listened very carefully, asked to make sure we understood his information and had no further questions. He did the most kind act I have seen from a doctor, when my father (in a wheelchair) said he had to urgently go to the restroom, Dr. Shemme personally wheeled him to the restroom.

Dr. Shemme is very easygoing and quite competent. He told me right from the start at my first appointment that he typically takes a more conservative approach when making a diagnosis-which is refreshing for me

I have had neurologists in the past who, in my opinion, didn't feel the need to listen as they had all the answers. I've been with dr. Shemme for nearly a year now. He listens very intently and provides thoughts and answers with patient/doctor compassion. By far the best neurologist I've ever had
