Dr Brownstein was quite personable and handled my initial office visit with great care and concern. In my experience, a cardiologist is one specialist I’d like to know BEFORE I need him/her in an emergency. He checked my RX’s, agreed with my PCP and I was on my way! I also enjoyed chatting with him about his work at the University of Iowa! Go Hawkeyes!

As a patient and nurse, I cannot praise this physician enough! His care was of the highest caliber clinically and compassionately. He sat down, provided me with eye contact, unlimited time and answered all my questions. This made me feel seen, heard and understood. I left the appointment uplifted and hopeful. I haven’t been treated this well as a patient in many years! I am so grateful that I found Dr Brownstein. He is a rare gem in this time of healthcare. With much gratitude!

Dr. Brownstein is such a fabulous doctor that you almost don't mind that you need a [ ] in the first place. He makes you feel comfortable with your situation and explains many ways to improve your current situation. Offered many options to aid in [ ]. Yet never belittles you for being...[ ]. I hope next time I see him I will able to answer yes to his "So have you stopped [ ]?" question. He knows I want to [ ]. And he honors that. He's a really fine doctor.
