Dr. Shea truly cares that he provides the very best of care for his patients. He asks specific questions to help him understand information that can help him diagnose next steps after taking time to study test results. His active listening to responses to his queries, thorough explanations and thoughtful responses to the patient’s questions help one understand are on their heart health journey. He gives next steps and then reviews what the patient needs consider going forward.

he listened to what I had to say and how I felt
he didn't think I needed further care but left it up to me if I wanted to use a monitor for a week and I declined

Dr. Shea thoroughly explains test results in terms that are easily understood. He is explains medication options, and discusses pros & cons of available choices. Dr. Shea treats the individual patient with compassion and a genuine concern for the best interests of the patient. He never seems rushed!
