My appointment with Dr. Shain was ok. She answered my questons but I found that when I was talking, she cut me off a couple of times. Doctors need to really listen to their patients. I just repeated my questions until I received an answer.

ive been with Dr. Shain since she started.I love riverbend, but it seems to me that they are too crowded now. you cannot get an appt less than months away.

Recommended certain vaccines, reordered a med in the correct dosage so that pills would not need to be cut in half. Ordered an ultrasound to be done before my next cardiology appointment.

I felt like my concerns were insignificant. Dr Shain was not listening and seemed to be rushing which is not usual

when checking in I was shocked to find that my scheduled physical visit was now going to be just a wellness visit since medicare would not pay for a physical. this was a surprise and i was still in shock when finally meeting with doctor. wanted a carotted artery check, and other and was totally astonished that i forgot to even ask about many things. wish i had been prepared for this beforehand, should have been advised only a wellness check not a physical.
