As a first-time patient, I was very impressed with Dr Shahed Y Ghoghawala, especially the excellent questions he asked, the ease of communication between doctor and patient, the time he took to understand my eye condition, and the solutions he provided (both verbal and medications). Also, the new SSM ophthalmology facility is great đź‘Ť

I think he's a good doctor, but needs to pick up the pace. It was not my first rodeo and was aware of test results which showed stability no need to stretch it out, And I have my 6 month appointment made.

After having multiple appointments canceled by UW when I have some serious eye issues, I decided to go to Dean. Dr. G has been fantastic. I was seen quickly and he did a very thorough job diagnosing my condition. He is very personable and explains. Well.

I appreciated receiving a full exam when I was initially scheduled for a dry eye consult. They saw the need and made the time for it.

He is a good guy and a good doctor. You guys just don't give him the help to lighten the work load for the benefit of the patients. It is not his fault.

This was my second visit with Dr. G. He took the time to study my medical history and to explain the reasons for the tests, and the results of the tests.

After he came in it appeared that he wanted to get me out. I had to ask him to evaluate a more severe condition that was later found and was handled very well with emergency surgery.
