Just wish I felt like more of a priority especially with a new health concern. Left with very unclear instructions on how to continue my care. For this reason I switched providers.

I did not feel like he was listening to me and didn’t take the time to learn about my health background. I have several health issues and need a PCP who understands this and cares.

I was a new patient after my old doctor moved away, so this was more of an appointment to get to know each other and so that he could take over prescribing my medications. From that point of view, it was quite successful. He was familiar with my chart and listened carefully to what I said. I'll be able to provide more feedback in the future when I get to know Dr. Shah more.

Took another blood test on site to see if my potasium level lowered after taking me off of lisinsapril.

I am a new patient of Dr. Shah’s and I felt welcome and heard. He seems very knowledgeable and caring.

Not a chatty doctor. I felt a little rushed, but that was probably my own perception only and not anything the doctor did. But I'd only mentioned 2 concerns (maybe 3) to the nurse before the doctor came in, and we didn't cover one of them. I admit I forgot it. But if the nurse questions aren't to help guide the doctor, then I'm not sure why those questions are asked ahead of the doctor at all.
