Unlike most surgeons, he was easy to talk with, shared answers to all my questions and offered various options for me to consider. He is highly recommended. I have to say, I am very impressed.

Dr. Gungor is an excellent pain management physician. When I was first diagnosed with CRPS it was a confusing, stressful and emotional period where there was a lack of capable physicians in NJ who I felt comfortable in their abilities to treat me without the need for a spinal cord implant. When I was recommended to Dr. Gungor by Dr. ( ), it literally changed my life. I feel exceptionally lucky to be in the care of such a skilled doctor who explained my condition, listened at every appointment and encounter, and planned a course of treatment that literally gave me my life back. I have been a patient now since 2018 and dread the day Dr. G decides to retire. He established such a wonderful relationship of trust that has reduced the daily anxiety from the diagnosis of such a devastating condition. I will forever be in debt to Dr. Gungor and the entire staff at the Special Procedures Unit who go above and beyond to put their patients first. I am not sure what words effectively capture what it means to have Dr. G as your treating pain management physician. I am grateful every single day that our paths crossed, and feel incredibly lucky to be in the care of such a caring, exceptional human being. I feel extremely fortunate to have access to HSS and the professionals who devote their time to making it one of the best medical facilities in the country.
