It was the most intense visit I have had with a doctor over the past years. I am grateful for his care and support.

Dr Welch reviewed my medical history and the fact that I have osteoarthritis and know that I have osteoarthritis and wondered just as I did why the PA I saw sent me to see a rheumatologist. I already take IVIG for CIDP I have other autoimmune diseases, I want a regimen of duloxetine thyroid medicine medicines to address hormone issues I've had after a hysterectomy and neurological issues related to undiagnosed Lyme for decades. There was no reason for me to come in for this appointment other than the PA deciding it recommend it. In my opinion, it was not a good use of my time or the doctor's time and the insurance company/medicare's funds for me to be seen.

He was very nice and explained things so that I understood what he was telling me and I felt he listened to me about things I said I'm very happy with him the experience was very good

Dr Sean Welch is very attentive and genuinely listens and tries to suggest helpful advice. I have many health issues so my case is somewhat complicated BUT he hasn't given up on me. He's an awesome doc and understands my pain and limitations. God Bless Him.

I've only been seeing Dr. Welch for a short time, but from our first visit, he's an amazing doctor one of the first doctors in a long time that actually listens to the patient and takes the time with them. I finally found a doctor who's gonna help me and I'm very grateful for Dr. Welch... the whole staff are so kind and helpful. It's very refreshing.

If a patient comes in for rheumy appt would expect that Dr would at least do a physical exam of joints and nail beds look in mouth and do a thorough check of joints and listen to lungs. Good Dr listens and seems knowledgeable just would like a little more "hands on" care.

As a new patient I wouldn't expect him to have much knowledge of my medical history.

Dr. Welch seems to be very knowledgeable regarding Rheumatology. He allows me to inquire with questions and provides answers that I can understand and digest.

This was one of the best visits I have ever had with a doctor. I felt like someone truly listened to me and wants to help me. I came to this appointment to switch doctors because I have felt my old provider was not listening at all. I felt I learned more and received better care in this one appointment than my entire months with the previous provider. Thank you so much!

With regard to my medical history, I wrote up some of the more important things myself. I felt that this might be important since most of my doctors are at Cooper. But, Dr. Sean knew some of this information too. Dr. Sean was great.

Dr. Welch was very attentive with me and patient. He showed much interest in helping me to resolve the issues that I was concerned about and I had a lot of confidence in him by the time we finished our appointments. So I really appreciate him taking the time, which he did take time, to spend with me to find out my concerns and how we are going to try and rectify that. I appreciate him being my doctor. Thank you.

I wasn't exactly sure what a Rheumatologist was, as I was following up on the recommendation of previous doctors due to a few medical issues, and I've got to tell you, I was really impressed with the thoroughness of Dr. Welch, and the amount of time he spent with me discussing my issues. Very good doctor!

Dr. Welch is amazing. He is thorough, prepared, compassionate. It was our second visit and it felt like I have been treated by him a long time. Such a fantastic addition to the Virtua staff.

Dr.Welch surprised me cuz lately the doctors I have went to see. Do not listen to me, do not take in account what I'm saying and how I am feeling about my body. He took the time to actually listen and hear me asked so many questions and he truly wants to figure out what is going on and I am very appreciative of that. You have no idea...so I was very pleased with my visit with Dr. Welch

I definitely appreciate the courtesy, the time management, and the professionalism. I would definitely recommend 7 out of 10 for anybody to come back to the office, absolutely. But I would love to see further. I have several appointments coming up. That was my first time. So I would like to see how I'm handled further going. But thank you so much.

It was a great experience. It was a nice environment. The doctor listened to me and was very professional and courteous. And he acknowledged what I said and answered my questions and listened to me when I mentioned some of my history and saw some of my paperwork that I took. I felt real good. It was good.
