My visit with Dr. Scott, as always, was professional, positive and warm. Her explanation of my recent scan was encouraging and reassuring and reinforced for me the very appropriate treatment plan that she has developed for my cancer diagnosis. And again, as always, I am very grateful that Dr. Scott is my medical oncologist.

Dr Scott is literally the perfect doctor -- simultaneously smart, science based, and empathic. She had read the records thoroughly before our appointment, engaged with me not only as a patient but as a person, and listened carefully. She is extremely knowledgeable and her familiarity with the research and her experience is confidence inspiring. She also considers patient concerns in deciding what treatments are appropriate and when. I literally cannot recommend her any more highly to anyone in need of an excellent thoracic oncologist. I am relieved to have her as my doctor in what may be quite a difficult journey.

Dr.Scott is the best oncologist I could hope for. In earlier stages of my disease, she was incredibly patient and took all the time I and my daughter needed to understand my treatment options. She was also supportive of the decisions I made, even though she probably preferred I that I start adjuvant therapy post surgery.
