I had a positive experience with Dr. Ellis. He was pleasant professional, and demonstrated excellent bedside manner. Since it had been some time since my last visit, he took the time to throughly re-examine my foot and carefully review my surgical plan in detail.
He clearly explained the procedure, expected post-operative function main management, rehabilitation, recovery restrictions, and even travel considerations. All of my questions were answered thoughtfully, and I never felt rushed. I left the appointment feeling informed, prepared and confident moving forward.

The fellow was really great at walking me through the MRI films, and talking to me about the recovery. Patient, empathetic, direct, good information, very kind. Great bedside manner. Im hearing recovery worse than presented from a past patient, perhaps he was "trying" to tell me, perhaps I wasnt understanding the significance. Dr Ellis came in and was direct and informative. Seems like a great team.

Dr. Ellis repaired my left ankle nine years ago and my right one in August. Both healed very well and are so much more reliable than they had been in many years. I already referred my sister-in-law to him.

Dr. Ellis emphasized that he would make sure to see me before he left, or else call me if I didn't wake up in time. It's always best hearing from the surgeon themselves how the surgery went.

He performed more surgery than I expected him to. Originally, I came to his office for severe pain in my posterior tibial tendon. But, he got to the original root of the problem which was my severe flat foot. So, he suggested that I also have a bunionectomy and heal realignment to create an arch to stabilize my foot.
