Dr. McAleer is awesome! He’s very knowledgeable about health medications and treatments! He has the best bed side manners I’ve seen! He never rushes and always listen to what I have to say! "S" is a 29-year old man with Down syndrome. We’ve had many experiences over the years with doctors. We would recommend Dr. McAleer for anyone, but especially those with disabilities because he listens to "him" and talks to him directly and very respectfully. Yes, he’s knowledgeable and informative, but the way he interacts with "S" is what I value the most.

Dr. McAleer is thorough, follows up on everything promptly and spends plenty of time with me to answer questions about my complicated health issues. He also is very responsive to questions or comments I’ve had on the UT Portal. He gives me hope that I will recover when sometimes hope is hard to find.
He is relatable and down to earth compared to many doctors I’ve had in the past. I am grateful to have found him and highly recommend him for modern, responsive and thorough medical care.
