Dr Schaefer was very helpful in explaining my injury. He helped me understand the immobilizer brace that would work best for me. He took a real interest in my well being and how to deal with the situation I am in.

Dr. Schaefer is an exemplary physician. As a former military doctor, he has had superior training. He shows a sincere concern about me as a patient. He is bright. His insights, diagnosis and treatment plan were specific to me regarding the pain in my leg.Dr. Schaefer is an asset to Hopkins. He is very impressive and kind. To me, he is a God-send.Thank you

I am so impressed with this physician. Using the older imaging and comparing it to the new, he did an in depth discussion of my knees' condition and possible options for care. It was amazing and I will be changing orthopedic care to JHH as a result of this great consultation
