In the past I've been advised to go on cholesterol meds even though my numbers are all in the pocket. This is due to some algorithm that knows very little about me. Dr. Schaar completely understood that my lifestyle choices should be factored in and respected my decision to forego drugs. If my panels come in with numbers that concern me I will revisit this matter.
