Dr. Sandman did my surgery early on the day after Christmas (Christmas was the day I fell on the ice). I am so appreciative of the care I received at such a busy time!

One thing Dr Sandman said shot should be working in a week and nurse said more like 2-3 weeks. They should be on the same page. I realize everyone is different.

Dr. Sandman’s Assistant was also exceptional, and I could tell why Dr. Sandman lets her handles many of the details beyond surgery. She explained things thoroughly, never pushed an opinion and spent all the time I needed, as well as my wife, in being sure we understood everything and had all our questions answered.

Dr. Sandman seems to be a very good listener and took the time to illicit the appropriate history and understand my concerns. I left with proper expectations, of home exercise program on the end of visit summary and a plan of when I might return if things didn’t turn around.

I've had experience with Dr. Sandman since he was associated with River Valley Orthopedics years ago. When my surgeon (Dr. Ben Harper) left River Valley/OAM he recommended Dr. Sandman and Trinity Health - and I haven't regretted it. Dr. Sandman oozes patience, knowledge and compassion and I trust him.

I have history with the practice Dr. Sandman used to be in (River Valley Ortho) before he moved to Trinity Health. I trusted the practice back then and I trust it even more today. Dr. Sandman and his staff are friendly, professional and caring.

Dr. Sandman was referred to me by my previous surgeon (Dr. Ben Harper) and I appreciate Dr. Sandman's expertise, experience, understanding and compassion. The former River Valley Ortho docs are great and I was thrilled that they left OAM and some are now at Trinity Health.
