Dr. Rao is the only orthopedic surgeon among 6 that I have consulted, that I trust completely. He listens, he acts quickly on legitimate requests, he is compassionate. He repaired my hip after a lot of damage provided a challenge.

This was my first visit with Dr. Rao. I fell on a wet floor and was worried that I may have damaged my right hip replacement. Dr. Rao x-rayed both hips and assured me that neither implant had been damaged in the incident.

He was the best! He listened, explained what he found on the xray, and gave me advice on how to treat my condition when I got home.

Dr Rao and his assistant [staff] were professional and extremely knowledgeable and supportive in that not much could be done with my knee. [staff] was extremely helpful in fitting me with the proper brace. He is a jewel in the office.

Found him outstanding in every aspect:Knowledgeable, asked probing questions to confirm my diagnosis, took time to review x-rays and explain next steps in treatment.Also went over instructions for meds and follow up. Most of all he reassured me about my health. Dr. Rao is very positive as well as pleasant.
