At my appointment yesterday, they failed to send through to my pharmacy diabetic testing supplies that I requested and was approved by my doctor on that visit. I subsequently sent a prescription refill notice for these supplies on the portal. Later I learned from my pharmacy that they had sent my MEDICINE refills (which I did not need) but no diabetic testing supplies. When I called the office to discuss this, I was hung up on. Why does this have to be this complicated??

Dr Davuluri is great. I really liked the medical student,Ben, that saw me. Rachel the assistant was so kind and helpful. As an older person, I like that I don’t have to drive downtown for my drs appt. It would be even better if UAB opened a primary care office in Alabaster👍

10+ love my experienc with Dr. Sameera Davuluri!!! She and her nurse always provide excellent, courteous, and helpful service. She is the only reason I start coming to the Hoover location. I hate the traffic, but she and her nurse make it worth the travel to come there every time. Love it there!!!

The entire building is filled with the best of the best. Everyone is helpful and kind. I recommend the Hoover office to all my friends and anyone who needs a new doctor.

The staff is excellent; the doctors are fine. My only problem is Hoover Family Medicine is 30 mins from UAB were I work and live.

Sometimes wait times are longer than anticipated but it's a very nice facility and should expand services to cardiology
