I recently had a serious issue that was revealed in my bloodwork. I got my labs done at a different UAB office. The staff there called my provider at Kirklin Clinic who immediately called me and this was less than 10 minutes after I left the building. The staff coordinated and worked as a team to get me to down to Kirklin for treatment and I'm feeling much better today. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.

Our doctor and nurse practitioner were prepared for our visit. They were thoughtful and considerate as we asked difficult questions related to blood cancer and how to treat it. The doctor stayed with us until we had no more questions. He told us that he welcomes questions and providing understandable answer to our complex questions. The doctor showed geniune empathy for my situation and the difficult choices we are facing.

All of the clinic staff were professional and friendly. Sabrina Sears is an excellent NP. She is easy to talk to and never makes you feel that she does not have time to listen to you. She has been very helpful as we have dealt with my health issues. She always provides me with the relevant information about my diagnosis and proposed treatment.

I have an extremely comfortable relationship with the entire staff of TKC Hematology unit from the registration desk, the lab, and especially the nurse practitioner. I fully trust my care to the staff. I actually use the portal to discuss any issue I have in their arena or not. They have always been available to me.

She explained all labs with me, took ample time with my husband & me during the visit & made us feel right at home.
