My cardiologist, Dr. Stapleton, seems very knowledgeable and compassionate. He answers all my questions and is easily accessible through his nurses and front desk.
Getting an appointment is fairly easy and the office staff and nurses are very friendly and helpful.

I had a virtual visit with Dr. Stapleton on 12/23/23. He began by chatting informally with me about my Christmas plans. He next took a thorough case history, asked if I had any medical complaints, and reviewed my medications. After reviewing his notes from my last visit about nine months ago, Dr. Stapleton felt that one of my medications could be discontinued. I agreed to his recommendations and will follow up with him in three months as he advised. Dr. Stapleton showed concern for my cardiac status and made an effort to include me on how to proceed with my future treatment. I am a retired optometrist and a "snowbird," spending five months in Florida and seven months mainly in Portland, ME. I am very pleased with the excellent care I received during my brief hospitalization in March and the services of your medical staff, including Dr. Stapleton.

Personal interaction with staff and doctors. Much of today's health care is "computer generated, a bit of loss of meaningful interaction, definitely a monetized endeavor, etc.
I find the Baptist services, both in Nassau County and at "Big Baptist" on the river in. JAX to still maintain a bit of meaningful interaction.

Dr. Stapleton is great. I've been a patient of his for about two years. He takes time with me. We talk about any symptoms or concerns and he listens to me an explains everything. We also seem to have a nice rapport. We talk about music or my profession or different sporting events. Having to be seen by a cardiologist is absolutely nerve wracking, but Dr. Stapleton makes it easier. He's down to earth, very intelligent and a genuinely nice guy.
The office staff is also very kind, patient and helpful. I do not interact with those folks as much but when I do, they make things easy too.

They’re fast
