All staff were professional and courteous. Very little wait time. Doctors was thorough and explained everything in a patient, simple manner.

I am always impressed and grateful for Dr. Carcelen and her staff. Everyone is so supportive and kind. It’s an unusual experience these days. Her compassion and interest for others flows over into her staff.

The doctor was not compassionate. She did not let me talk. She did not even read the questionnaire of my symptoms that took me 30 min to fill out. It seemed like she came in to see me with preconceived ideas of my problems without caring to listen to my concerns. She was ver dismissive to anything I asked and was in a rush to end the visit. I would never see her again an am furious that I had to wait over 6 months for this appointment and had to pay so much for a useless evaluation.

Love the clean and new facility. Parking was convenient and it’s very close to my home. The staff and Dr. Carcenlen were all professional and thorough. I really feel Dr. Carcelen cares about my well being and treats my conditions as such. Highly recommend UAB Pulmornary Med West.
