Caring, good bedside manner, funny, was able to lighten the mood when things got serious and I got emotional. Very informative. Didnt dismiss any of my concerns. Took the time to draw out and explain my condition.

I have and do recommend Dr. Kulstad to friends and coworkers. He is knowledgeable about my personal health and listens and cares. Both he and Lauren are exemplary medical professionals in every way. I am so grateful for them both.

His staff are very kind. I was switching providers as the other Dr. didn't really do much to address my health issues. After Dr. Kulstad did my biopsy and I got to see his care first hand I requested to transfer to him. He is very busy so it took me a while to get in to see him. He was worth the wait.

Would love to see him at the VA hospital, I'm going to be transferring to the VA hospital being retired military disabled. Wife is retiring is the the reason for the move. I will miss him and Dr Tran and their staff immensely...

He’s the best doctor I’ve ever had, in any field of care. Diabetes is a hard condition with lots of moving parts. It’s not just the medicine, it’s what you’re eating, when, your exercise, stress levels, etc. Dr. Kulstad actually cares and listens to your day to day life and concerns with zero judgement. I’ve had problems in the past of endocrinologists just caring about the numbers and not wanting to hear about the external factors that caused them. Dr. Kulstad is always reassuring that I’m doing my best and “he doesn’t have diabetes so he doesn’t know my struggles but tries to empathize”. He’s also taught me a lot about diabetes and is always willing to explain the details of how things work.

Dr Kulstad has excellent “bedside manners” and explains the medical issues in plain English. He’s very engaging and treats you like his favorite patient! Maybe I am? Haha… he’s become a specialist in my healthcare whom I look forward to seeing.
