I was very pleased with the care I received. The doctor listened carefully and provided thorough answers to my questions. He provided insight into my neuropathy, even suggesting it may have started in my early 20's or 30's. Because neuropathy has affected numerous cousins on my father's side, he suggested doing genetic testing. I will be following through on this.

Dr. Roda is a very caring and knowledgeable physician. He has been the first Myasthenia Gravis (MG) neuro specialist I have consulted with, who has been able to successfully treat my condition and bring my symptoms under control. He has always answered my questions, both in person and via MyChart, with answers that are easily understandable and thorough. I have confidence that Dr. Roda has me on the best path for treating my MG.

My problems are neurological, and it's a very specialized field. Dr. Roda helped narrow the possibilities to a problem with the central (as opposed to peripheral) nervous system, which is outside his primary expertise. He and [staff], also at JH, will help me find an appropriate neurologist.

Dr. Roda has been nothing but exceptional. He is the first doctor that listened to my concerns and took action to determine a diagnosis and ordered tests to determine what it might be. While no true diagnosis has been found, except that I believe it is as a result of lyme disease, Dr. Roda is the first doctor that has gone to extreme to help me find a diagnosis. Also he referred me to pain management at Johns Hopkins and they too have put me on the road to be able to manage the pain.
