First of all, if you’re reading these reviews, you or a loved one must be in pain, I’m so sorry you have suffered an injury and we wish you the best in your recovery. We researched and found that one of the best orthopedic foot surgeons for my type of calcaneal injury happened to be right here in town. What are the odds!? I completely shattered my calcaneus and tore peroneal tendons in April, had surgery, and was released from care in August. I can’t believe I had a full recovery; thanks to Dr Schergen and his team. They treat every injury like they would a pro athlete getting “back to the game”. It was tough being non weight bearing 6 weeks, but it was crucial to healing. He is fast and efficient as well as compassionate and direct. Highly recommend you see him if you are unfortunate enough to have fractured your heel or have suffered any type of complex foot injury. Whether you are an athlete or an elder (or both😉) he’s your doc! We are lucky to have him in our area ( that is until the Olympic medical team finds out and comes to snatch him away 😂)
