The sincere heartfelt caring is too much to describe. The fact that I am 72, you would think that the caring, the current status, the outlook for the future, would be just enough to sustain. But I was treated like I was in my 30's and I had a whole lifetime to go yet. I just cannot describe how thankful I am for Dr. Ritsema. It is NOT superficial. It is genuine from the heart.

I believe I have said it all! I'm looking for medical leadership and what I get is diet plan talk. It's important to have a good diet, I agree. However, when you are recovering as I did, recovering becomes the narrative!!! It's been that way from the beginning. Good guy, but not extremely knowledgeable from a medical perspective, in my opinion!

Dr Ritsema is an outstanding man. I can trust him. He listens to me and does not judge me. He takes the time to " dumb it down" for me to make sure I understand whats happening, or what I need to do, or why I need to take something.

My son, who is 40 years old and a high functioning autistic, also sees Dr. Ritsema and he is so kind and explains things very well to be. I told my son that Dr. Ritsema told me something very interesting at my appointment, and he said yes, he told me that too. So he is listening!
