This office is my ‘medical home’. I feel compassion for my needs starting with Karen at the front desk, continuing with Nurse Tina and absolutely with Dr. Ritsema.

I just thought it was unfortunate that they were so far behind schedule and no one stopped in to let me know that they were behind nor when I could expect the doctor to show up. I had a meeting to get back to after the appt and felt rushed. I was there on time, so it just felt frustrating. I understand that someone else probably needed more time and that's totally fine. I just wish someone would have communicated the delay to me. Other than that though, he's an awesome doc and I would certainly recommend him.

Dr. Ritsema truly cares for the whole person. He never wants you to leave without a complete understanding of how your body is functioning and what you need to do to improve / maintain your health.

One of the finest doctors I've ever had the privelege of coming across. He is a true gem. Since being under his care, he has caught my diabetes and afib and sent me to specialists. This has dramatically improved my overall health.

Dr. Ritsema was very kind and didn't make me feel rushed at all. He went above and beyond what I expected for my situation. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I would like to have him as my PCP, but I live an hour away and might find someone closer.

The sincere heartfelt caring is too much to describe. The fact that I am 72, you would think that the caring, the current status, the outlook for the future, would be just enough to sustain. But I was treated like I was in my 30's and I had a whole lifetime to go yet. I just cannot describe how thankful I am for Dr. Ritsema. It is NOT superficial. It is genuine from the heart.
