Dr. Rice spent time reviewing my dad's chart before our arrival and really got to know him in a short time. She truly seemed to understand what my dad's needs were and she was patient with his apprehension about most medical care and diagnostic tests. She explained everything so clearly to him, that he even agreed to have a screening lung CT and an abdominal MRI to determine what is going on. This was a huge step for my dad and I really think it was because she respected him and his wishes, educated him, and included him in the decision-making process. Thank you Dr. Rice!
