Rachel is amazing. She takes the time to listen to all of my concerns and I never feel rushed. When I don’t understand something she is happy to explain. She is a kind and caring nurse practitioner and UAB should be very proud to have her.

I requested a refill on Wednesday and still do not have it filled on Friday. The process is too long. Now it is the weekend and I am out of medication! This is the second time this has happened.

It's extremely frustrating that regardless of how long you have been seeing a specific provider, their schedule seems too busy to accommodate you when you need them to. There have been several instances over the past 4 years where I was sick and would have loved to see my actual provider, but the next available appointment is months away. This is a broad problem with UAB it seems because my OBGYN is the same way. Providers are hugely overbooked so it's nearly impossible to see the same provider every time, unless of course you can wait 3 months to be seen. This is frustrating because for a lot of people, it can be difficult to establish trust with a provider, and even with your chart in front of them, they don't know your history. Honestly, even when I have seen my actual primary care provider, she doesn't know my history because she has too many patients.

Ease of parking, quality of care, new, clean facilities, all positives. Administrative and support staff were not very friendly or professional on my last visit.
