As a Canadian we are unaccustomed to the convenience
and efficiency Urgent Care offers. The staff were kind, the space was pristine by comparison and was less expensive than we imagined.

A course of antibiotics was started prior to the patient leaving the clinic. Wait time for a room was reasonable for a walk-in. Our insurance is accepted there. Dr. Leblanc communicated
empathically with the patient. Both paper copy and electronic copy to the primary physician were provided with problem and diagnosis.

Dr took forever. I have come here for many years. The lady said they don't take our insurance when we come regularly. This experience took 3 hours when it shouldn't have

I was told right off the bat that I had a miscarriage, when moments before with the ultrasound tech told me it could be too early to tell.
The doctors and nurse went directly to negatives. Pretty much told me to not have any hope.

Got in very quickly. Nurse was very friendly & professional.
Doctor ordered tests. Explained my test results and called in my prescriptions while I was there. He was friendly & professional
And kind. Discharge was quick also.

The first nurse was really nice but the one who took over from her was kind of a know-it-all. Not rude just a little condescending. Other than that, it was a great visit.

Front desk staff, nice. Paperwork seems kind of redundant. Wait time was a bit longer then we would have liked. X-ray tech kinda seemed grumpy. Dr. was nice.

My only complaint was an incorrect address was in the system from a previous visit and I thought the correct address had been entered in during my most recent visit but when I was transferred to be admitted in the hospital the paperwork from Premier still had the incorrect address. Everything else about my visit was great.

I enter at 2:18pm and left after 5pm. I sat in a room over two hours waiting for a flu and strep throat test. I was told it takes 25 min to get test results.
The doctor suggested antibiotics, and i suggested a steroid shot. I was positive for strep and the flu. Why not try to help immediately stop the strep pain with a steroid.

The process is as good as you can expect when you feel like you need to go except the sitting. No setting high enough for elderly. Higher chairs with arms are needed badly as I always have to stand.

Dr. Beatty was so very helpful in getting the ball rolling for me to get the procedure I needed at the hospital. She explained my situation and the cause of my pain and gave me the medications I needed until I went to the hospital for a procedure.

My only complaint is when you check in online it doesn't put you on the wait. We live an hour away and I checked in online for my 11 month old and we still had to wait an hour since checking in online doesn't matter. It was a Sunday and no one in Gatesville is open except for the ER and it Wasn't an energy, just needed to get check for the flu due to high temp.

We do not go to Dr unless it's urgent, and we have been unable to heal ourselves. Not critical enough for discombobulated visits to a Hospital ER, but do not want to wait for an appt with our PC. For the cost as "self pay family"or me with my Humana, the service, professionalism, hospitality, and concern for our health is why we turn to Urgent Care FIRST now.
