He's personable, not condescending. He told me at our first meeting that I was more than the sum of my numbers, I was a patient worthy of the best care he could provide. He listens and admits when he doesn't know something. He told me that Doctors need to listen to patients more closely, and to the parents of the kids/young adults he sees. I've never had a doctor say these things like they happen everywhere; they don't. My family is not typical, and not all doctors bother to take the time to really listen. In all the years we've been going to him, it's always the same. Everyone should have a doctor like this.

Dr. Planer is a wonderful doctor. He really takes the time to listen to your concerns, and does not "hurry you out" of the exam room. He has a great "bed-side manner".
