I LIKE DR THEUMA BUT I DO HAVE A LITTLE PROBLEM UNDERSTANDING HIM. I DO WEAR HEARING AIDS SO GRANTED THAT IS SOME OF THE PROBLEM. HE IS A VERY GOOD DR.

I’ve been to several doctors and he is the only one that has taken the time and the patience to understand what I was saying and explain things to me in great detail. He is amazing Dr.

I see a lot of doctors. Some of them make me feel like I'm on a conveyor belt and they are just eager to finish with me, so they can go on to the next patient. But I have never felt that way with Dr. Thuema. From his smile and pleasant greeting to the end of the appointment, when he tells us goodbye, he makes me feel like I'm important.

Dr. Theuma has treated me for years. I was stable for a few years but I'm back with him now that health issues seem to have begun again. His experience is beyond anyone else in Iowa. He actually listens which alot of doctors don't. I find that some have already preconceived ideas and results. Dr. Theuma is not that way. Love this doctor.

Dr. Theuma spent time discussing a diagnosis. I received at Mayo Clinic. He also provided me with more information about my diagnosis as well as providing me some written documentation.

He’s positive but doesn’t minimize difficult feelings. Nice smile. I could understand himBetter this time—before I remember his French accent made him a little harder to understand but this time it seemed like it wasn’t an issue. The nurses are all so young but honestly I really appreciate their good attitude and caring as well. John up at the front is a bit grumpy and kind of serious but the nurses and doctor are more relaxed and that helped me relax as well. Oh and I got a little lost on the way to the lab and a nice nurse took me right to where I needed to go. That was so nice as well. I’ve spent a lot of time at Unitypoint and honestly I can say I think it care is at least equal— I think the nursing at Mercy is better.
