Some of nursing staff not receptive to patient requests. Presume to know what patient needs without bothering to simply ask the patient. Too many intermediaries. If I can’t ask the Dr , I would hope the nurse would personally address my issue.
This is not an issue with other departments at UAB/Kirkland. Thank you for the opportunity to share.

Everything was planned and executed so professionally. Our check-in was early and all went so smoothly. I was very thankful and impressed with the staff and doctors we interacted with during our visit. Definitely a “10” in my book! Thank you!

Dr. Schmalz is excellent and has a great bedside manner! He went above and beyond to explain my condition and to explain all my options.

Appeared pretty clean. Employees seemed engaged and attentive. The NP and Dr seemed professional, attentive, and knowledgeable with a genuine concern for my well-being.
