Always glad they retake the blood pressure !( a second time ) There is a difference I see ! When coming into the office it does appear to “see the doc” that I get a bit nervous naturally and need a few minutes to settle down ! They call it ( white coat syndrome I do believe ) LoL !

Dr. Peter Meyers is truly in a league of his own. In my almost 66 years, I’ve never had the pleasure of being a patient of an internist as perfect as he. Everything about him makes him simply outstanding. For example, he enters your room and has the warmest and most engaging smile. It’s as though you’re best friend or family member (better than some family, even) has come to see you. In addition, he asks very relevant questions and he is the absolute best listener. Also, he is exceptionally thorough - he was the first internist to order blood panels (finding things each time - hypothyroidism and triglyceride issues), including the all important PSA test! Further, he never makes me feel rushed, though I do try to be respectful of his time. Plus, he’s simply exceptionally competent in everything he does. If I had a magic wand, I could not conjure up a better internist than Dr. Peter Meyers. He is simply the best, ever! Clone him, please (with his permission, of course).

He tries to ensure I follow his medical advice as best I can, but doesn't pressure me because he knows I want to continue enjoying life and eating things I like even though it goes against helping me with my "pre diabetes" and glucose levels. I have reduced some habits, and portion control now.
